The role

We are seeking applications from motivated individuals for Storeman to join our Warehouse team based in the Freeport Indonesia - located in the Papua Province, Indonesia.

You will be responsible to ensure stock accuracy & efficiency when receiving, picking / packing and dispatching of goods.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• All customers receive correct parts and quantities in time and on time
• Any discrepancies with regard to inventory, safety and other anomalies are reported
• Assist with stock counts - Wall to wall and cycle counts
• Housekeeping and safety is adhered too
• Receiving of inbound purchase orders or transfer orders
• Put-away/binning of stock
• Picking of orders
• Packing of orders
• Warehouse administration and housekeeping

ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH AND SAFETY

• Adopt a proactive approach to building a sustainable Sandvik Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) culture within the workplace
• Conduct yourself in accordance with Sandvik EHS Vision to achieve Zero Harm to our people, the environment we work in, our customers and our suppliers
• Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and ensure that your actions do not adversely affect the environment or the health and safety of any other person in the workplace.
• Comply with all aspects of the Sandvik Environment, Health and Safety Policy, and any reasonable instructions, procedures or systems of work which are given in the interest of providing safe work practices in the workplace and to eliminate environmental harm.
• Identify and report any unsafe work behaviors/ practices, hazards and incidents immediately.

EXPERIENCE

1-2 years' experience in Warehousing/ Distribution/ Supply Chain environment

EDUCATION, LICENCES & CERTIFICATES

High School or equivalent experience. Post-secondary education/training in business or supply chain discipline would be of advantage.

OTHER:

• Desirable English Proficiency: Upper Intermediate (CEFR B2/ Completed EF level 9)
• Organization Contribution: Operational controls, Warehouse efficiency, Warehouse improvement, Performance management
• KPIS: Inbound & outbound on time, Returns compliance, LPS close-out time, Goods in transit aging
