Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Urban Designer / Senior Architect at TOWNLAND in Jakarta.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a reputable university with a degree in Architecture, preferably with post graduate degree in Urban Design.
• Minimum of around 10 years of postgraduate experience as professional Urban Designer.
• Experience in Urbanism, with a full understanding of Indonesian planning and design standards/regulations, as well as International Best Practice.
• Quality portfolio showing dedication to innovative planning and design solutions for complex urban issues.
• Highly creative, innovative and self-motivated, with a view to international recognition.
• Solid experience in the project management of signature projects and can be Client facing.
• Able to lead multiple projects at the same time.
• Able to coach and train Urban Designers towards a full understanding of sustainable design.
• Excellent design, visualization and graphic skills.
• Confident and highly skilled in design softwares, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suits Collection, Lumion and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent English (oral and writing) skills.
• SKA and other professional certifications are a plus.
• Willing to undertake domestic and international travel.
• Able to represent us at international conferences and seminars.
