Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Security Engineer located in Jakarta. The Senior Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security controls to protect systems and networks. They will proactively identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities in applications, networks, and information security frameworks. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting security assessments, monitoring systems for breaches, and developing robust solutions to strengthen security infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Application Security and Network Security
• 5 Years of Experience at Application or Network Security
• Understanding IPS/IDS/App Firewall/SASE/XDR/EDR/
• Understanding and experience Apache, hand ons Java or Python
• Proficiency in Cybersecurity and Security Engineering principles
• In-depth knowledge of Information Security practices and standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to analyze and respond to security risks quickly and effectively
• Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a strong advantage
