The Senior Product Designer is responsible for leading the design of high-quality, user-centric products by combining strategic thinking, user research, and advanced design expertise. This role involves creating and refining design systems, conducting user research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive, accessible, and scalable product solutions that align with business goals and enhance the user experience.

The Senior Product Designer will play a key role in defining design strategies, improving design processes, mentoring junior designers, and ensuring the successful implementation of design solutions that drive business outcomes and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define and execute design strategies aligned with business goals.
2. Lead user-centered, innovative design solutions that balance user needs and business objectives.
3. Conduct research, usability testing, and competitor analysis to generate insights and translate them into actionable design improvements.
4. Create and refine UI/UX designs, prototypes, and design systems while ensuring visual consistency, accessibility, and scalability.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Design) to ensure seamless implementation and alignment with business/technical requirements.
6. Participate in product planning and strategy discussions.
7. Guide and mentor junior designers.
8. Provide design feedback and promote best practices.
9. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
10. Ensure designs comply with WCAG and other accessibility standards.
11. Design for inclusivity across various user demographics.

1. Bachelor's degree in industrial design, product design, visual communication design, fine arts, or relevant discipline.
2. Have 5+ years of experience in product design, UI/UX design, or interaction design, with a proven track record in leading design projects, developing design systems, and delivering user-centric digital products.
3. Experience working in cross-functional teams within tech companies, digital agencies, or startups is highly preferred, along with expertise in user research, prototyping, and design strategy.
4. Deep understanding of User-Centered Design (UCD) and product strategy alignment
5. Strong expertise in creating, scaling, and managing design systems
6. Skilled in UI/UX design, user flows, high-fidelity interfaces, and interaction models
7. Proficient in prototyping and usability testing with tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
8. Experienced in visual design (typography, color, layout, branding) and microinteractions/animations
9. Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
10. Ability to structure content and navigation through effective information architecture
11. Familiarity with front-end concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to support developer collaboration
12. Effective in cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Business teams
13. Strong capability in design documentation, handoff, and maintaining consistency across products
