JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Serve as the subject matter expert in geotechnical engineering for the organization.

• Provide technical guidance on soil mechanics, foundation design, slope stability, ground improvement, and related areas.

• Review and approve geotechnical designs, calculations, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with local and international standards.

• Oversee geotechnical investigations, analyses, and designs for infrastructure, construction, and industrial projects.

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of geotechnical solutions.

• Manage client relationships and provide technical presentations when required.

• Stay updated with advancements in geotechnical engineering and implement innovative techniques.

• Contribute to the development of new methodologies, tools, and practices within the company.

• Mentor and train junior engineers and technical staff to build internal expertise.

• Organize knowledge-sharing sessions and workshops to enhance team capabilities.

• Ensure all geotechnical work adheres to Indonesian regulations and international standards.

• Identify potential risks in projects and develop mitigation strategies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a proven track record in Indonesia.

• Experience with large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or commercial projects.

• In-depth knowledge of geotechnical investigation techniques, soil mechanics, foundation design, and ground improvement methods.

• Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, or similar tools.

• Strong understanding of local geological conditions and construction practices in Indonesia.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and presentation abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

• Willingness to travel to project sites across Indonesia as required.
