Sephora SEA's omni channel business spans over 8 countries (Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand) with 100+ stores and boasts some global flagships such as ION and Raffles City in Singapore, F88 in Kuala Lumpur and Pitt Street in Sydney. The opportunity:

Senior General Ledger Accountant

Reporting Manager: Finance Controlling Manager Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support the end-to-end accounting functions, including the maintenance of the General Ledger and Balance Sheet
• Prepare month-end accruals
• Process monthly journals, including analysis of journals
• Liaise with external auditors and suppliers
• Review and validate the accuracy of financial reports
• Preparation of monthly P&L, working capital and cash-flow forecasts
• Computation of corporate taxes and filing of tax returns
• Managing and assisting external audit teams to ensure efficient and timely audits, including replying auditors' questions
• Budget prepartion and reporting

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA/CA preferred
• At least 3 years' experience in accounting roles, preferably gained in the Big 4
• Fluent in English, experience working or studying in an English language environment is sufficient
• An Excel champion, with some experience with a large ERP system (eg: SAP)
• Highly analytical with great problem-solving skills
• Good communicator and able to build effective relationships with peers and internal customers
