PotentiaHR is currently hiring on behalf of our client, a leading food ingredients supplier, in their search for a Sales Executive / Sales Manager (depending on experience). This role will be based in Tangerang and will focus on driving sales growth across a diverse portfolio of food additives and specialty ingredients.

What will you do?

• Lead and grow sales in food ingredients and additives across industries such as beverages, dairy, confectionery, savory, seasoning, sauces, and bakery.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with decision makers in FMCG and food manufacturing companies.

• Drive business development by introducing new products to the market and educating customers on technical applications.

• Provide consultative support by explaining ingredient functionality (e.g., hydrocolloids as stabilizers, sweeteners for sugar reduction, preservatives for shelf-life, oleoresins for flavor and color).

• Collaborate closely with R&D, supply chain, and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.

• Monitor market trends (plant-based, clean label, sugar reduction) and translate insights into sales opportunities.

• For Sales Manager level: Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to deliver business targets.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or related field.

• 4+ years of experience in B2B sales of food ingredients/additives (flavors, oleoresins, starches, preservatives, hydrocolloids, etc.).

• Proven track record in business development, launching new products, and providing technical education to customers.

• Strong networking ability with buyers and decision makers in the F&B industry.

• Familiarity with BPOM & Halal regulations related to food additives.

• Excellent negotiation, consultative selling, and customer relationship management skills.

• Leadership experience in managing sales/business development teams is a plus.

• Proficient in English communication is preferred.

• Entrepreneurial, target-driven, and adaptable in a dynamic market.

• Willing to work in Tangerang / Relocate
