About the role
As a Sales Engineer at PT Haluan Sistem Integrasi, you will play an important role in the company by providing expert technical sales support and solutions to our clients. In this dynamic contract-based position, you will be responsible for understanding our clients' needs, offering customized products and services, and ensuring successful implementation.
Responsibilities:
Develop and identify new customers; approach prospective clients
Assist customers with troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of process machinery
Maintain and nurture relationships with existing customers
Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain products and services to customers and prospects
Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQ) covering both technical and commercial aspects
Follow up on projects, manage after-sales support, and supervise ongoing client needs
Provide solutions to clients regarding installed equipment issues
Support research and development of new products
Conduct technical reviews and provide technical support
Requirements:
Proven experience and extensive networking within the industrial sector
Technical engineering background combined with strong sales skills
Proactive attitude and excellent presentation abilities
Ability to interact professionally at all organizational levels
Familiar with PLC programming and troubleshooting, and proficiency in using standard electrical measuring instruments,will be preferred
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year working experience as a technician in Pharma, Chemical, or Food industries
University degree preferred but not mandatory
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering
Experience in IT/Mechatronics preferred
Willingness to travel frequently
Have a license (SIM A) will be preferred
Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
