About the role

PT Wastec International is seeking a dedicated HSE Officer to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance of our operations, playing a critical part in our commitment to maintaining the highest industry standards.

What you'll be doing

• Developing, implementing and continuously improving health, safety and environmental management systems to meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices

• Conducting risk assessments, audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards

• Providing training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and environmental protection

• Investigating incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence

• Monitoring and reporting on key health, safety and environmental performance indicators

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed a culture of safety and sustainability

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation and regulations

What we're looking for

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management or a related field

• Thorough understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees at all levels

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals

• AK3U Certified
