We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team at Raffles Hotels & Resorts Jakarta. The role is essential to delivering an exceptional first impression to guests.
Raffles Hotels & Resorts is a global luxury brand, comprising 20 ultra‑luxury hotels and resorts across key international destinations. The Jakarta property is located in the heart of the Kuningan district and offers exceptional facilities including a spa, pool, meeting rooms and a state‑of‑the‑art fitness centre.
Job Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and serve as the face of the hotel.
- Handle check‑ins and check‑outs efficiently.
- Manage reservations and provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Assist guests with inquiries, resolve any issues or concerns, and ensure their needs are met during their stay.
- Process payments and maintain accurate guest records.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum high‑school diploma or equivalent. Additional training or certification in hospitality or guest services is an advantage.
- Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, ideally in a luxury hotel or upscale hospitality setting.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required. Fluency in other languages will be a strong advantage.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and other departments.
- Guest Service Orientation: Demonstrated passion for delivering exceptional guest service. Friendly, professional, and empathetic approach with the ability to proactively anticipate and resolve guest needs.
- Technical Skills: Good command of computer systems, including hotel management and reservation software, as well as Microsoft Office.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, including guest inquiries, payments, reservations, and record‑keeping.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling guest information, billing, and identifying guest preferences.
- Professional Appearance: Well‑groomed and professional presentation at all times.
