About the role
We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team at The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates Mission to ASEAN in Jakarta. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, providing exceptional customer service and assisting with a variety of administrative tasks. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic international environment and contribute to the smooth running of our mission.
What you'll be doing & Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist visitors, and guests in a courteous, warm and professional manner
Handling incoming telephone calls, emails and correspondence, and directing them to the appropriate person or department
Manage and assist with appointments, schedules, meeting room and administrative tasks
Maintaining a neat and tidy reception area, ensuring it is well-stocked and organized
Providing translation and communication support in English, Arabic, and Indonesian when required
Maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
Qualifications & Requirements:
Fluency in Arabic, English and Indonesian (both written and spoken) ability to communicate effectively is mandatory
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with people at all levels
Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a customer-facing role or in similar role is preferred
A professional appearance, demeanor, courteous and friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
