PT Global Papua Abadi is an integrated sugar industry business entity which is included in the National Strategic Project (Proyek Strategis Nasional) for the Merauke food and energy development area, which operates in Merauke Regency, South Papua Province with an area of (±) 30,000 hectares as a form of real support for the Government's sugar self-sufficiency Government's programme in realising sugar & bioethanol self-sufficiency in the framework of Food and Energy Security.

Quantity Surveyor (Plantation Infrastructure Projects)

? Key Responsibilities:

• As Quantity Surveyor, you will be report directly to Port and Infra project.

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for plantation-related infrastructure projects.

• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for road construction, irrigation, and supporting facilities.

• Monitor project expenditures, cash flow, and ensure efficient use of resources.

• Manage procurement and tendering processes for contractors, suppliers, and service providers.

• Draft, review, and administer contracts, including handling variations and claims.

• Evaluate completed work on-site and verify contractor payment certificates.

• Provide regular cost and progress reports to management.

• Ensure compliance with plantation regulations, HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards, and company policies.

• Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, contractors, and estate management teams.

• Advise management on risk, cost-saving opportunities, and dispute resolution.

? Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in plantation or large-scale infrastructure projects.

• Strong knowledge of roadworks, irrigation systems, drainage, and plantation support facilities.

• Proficiency in QS and construction software (AutoCAD, MS Project, CostX, or equivalent).

• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in remote plantation areas with adaptability and resilience.

• Good negotiation and communication skills with contractors and stakeholders.

• Familiarity with local construction laws, environmental, and safety regulations.

• Professional certifications (RICS, CIQS, or equivalent) are an advantage.
