About the role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Purchasing Staff to join our team at PT Sunrise Masami Internasional' in Banyuwangi, East Java. As a Purchasing Staff, you will play a crucial role in our Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics operations, with a focus on Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory management. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of our dynamic organisation.
What you'll be doing
Manage the purchasing process, including sourcing, negotiating, and securing the best deals for materials and supplies
Collaborate with internal departments to forecast and plan inventory requirements
Maintain accurate records and provide detailed reports on purchasing activities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and timely delivery
Assist in implementing and improving purchasing policies and procedures
Stay up-to-date with market trends and industry best practices in purchasing and procurement
What we're looking for
Relevant experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimise inventory management and cost-effective purchasing
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Proficient in using System Applications and Products (SAP), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and other purchasing software
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental and organisational goals
Honest and responsible in carrying out work
Fluent in English and Mandarin is a Plus
