We're currently looking for contract-based staff to support our Capex Procurement team.

Job Description:

1. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify equipment needs and specifications based on project requirements.

2. Sourcing, develop and maintain relationships with equipment suppliers, manufacturers, and dealers to ensure competitive pricing, timely delivery, and high-quality products.

3. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with equipment vendors to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.

4. Coordinate and manage purchasing tenders, including preparing tender documents, issuing requests for proposals (RFPs), evaluating bids, and awarding contracts.

5. Collaborate with logistics department for transportation, delivery to ensure seamless integration into construction projects.

6. Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of capital expenditure equipment to ensure optimal performance, safety, and longevity.

7. Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to construction equipment to inform procurement decisions and strategies.

8. Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, purchases, warranties, and maintenance schedules using procurement software/systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field.

• Proven experience in purchasing capital expenditure equipment for the construction industry, with a strong understanding of construction equipment types, brands, and specifications.

• Experience in managing purchasing tenders, including preparing documents, evaluating bids, and awarding contracts.

• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with equipment suppliers, manufacturers, and dealers.

• Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to conduct cost-benefit analyses and budget reviews.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software/systems.

• Full proficiency in English or Mandarin.

• Working Location is in Serpong, Tangerang.

• Working arrangement: WFO, Monday-Friday, 08.00-17.00
