Overview

Procurement Lead role at KBR, Inc. within the Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group. This position supports the Abadi LNG project, a front-end design (FEED) effort for onshore LNG facilities with peak production targets of 9.5 million tons per annum of LNG and 150 million standard cubic feet per day of pipeline gas. The Abadi LNG project has been designated a project of national strategic importance by the Indonesian government.

The Procurement Lead will support and manage all procurement work for the project.

• Interface with all engineering disciplines
• Apply awareness of construction, safety practices, general operating procedures and project philosophies in support of procurement
• Review and follow procurement procedures
• Work closely with subcontractors and vendors
• Lead tender process and budget evaluation for the LNG facility

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering-related field
• 9+ years of experience in procurement
• 5+ years of experience in a Lead Procurement role
• Experience as a Lead Procurement role that has supported FEED & EPCI projects for LNG plants
• Proven ability to work within a risk procurement framework
• Expertise in procurement procedures
• Demonstrated ability to create and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors
• Knowledgeable in the tendering process and bid evaluation of LNG facilities
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and strong planning and organizational skills
• Familiarity with gas industry codes and standards; industry knowledge desirable
