About the role
BPK PENABUR Jakarta (SPK), an international school in North Jakarta, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Performing Arts Teacher to join their team. In this full-time role, you will have the opportunity to shape the artistic and creative development of our students, fostering their passion for the performing arts.
What you'll be doing
Designing and delivering engaging performing arts lessons, covering a range of disciplines such as play, drama, crafting, and etc.
Collaborating with students to produce outstanding performances and showcases that highlight their talents
Developing and implementing a comprehensive performing arts curriculum that aligns with the school's educational objectives
Providing guidance and mentorship to students, helping them to develop their skills, confidence, and creativity
Collaborating with other teachers to integrate performing arts into cross-curricular activities and projects
Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and self-expression
Actively participating in the school's cultural events and extracurricular activities
What we're looking for
Degree in Performing Arts, Theatre Arts, Filmography, English, or Similar (Fresh graduates are welcomed)
Strong knowledge of various performing arts disciplines, including music, drama, and dance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students
Demonstrated creativity, innovation, and a passion for the performing arts
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
