As part of our growth, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Executive to join our team.
About the RoleReporting directly to the Payroll Leader, this role offers cross-border exposure, as you will be responsible for managing payroll operations in both Indonesia and Malaysia. You will ensure payroll accuracy, compliance with regulatory requirements, and handle employee queries while also collaborating with regional teams to continuously improve processes.
Key Responsibilities
Process fortnightly and monthly payroll for temporary and contract employees in Indonesia and Malaysia
Ensure all payments comply with local regulatory guidelines. Ensure accurate and timely salary payments, tax deductions, and statutory contributions (BPJS, EPF, SOCSO, etc.
Manage and resolve employee queries related to payroll matters
Administer employee claims, leave, and benefits based on each country's and client's regulations
Handle tax payments for resigned staff
Prepare invoicing after payroll settlement
Maintain and update employee data in HRIS and payroll systems
Collaborate with the Regional Team to enhance processes through suggestions and feedback
Support ad-hoc assignments as directed by the Payroll Leader
Requirements
Diploma in Accounting or related field
Minimum of 2 years' experience in payroll or a related field
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Ability to manage high-volume work and meet tight deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Dedicated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Eagerness for self-learning, continuous improvement, and career growth
