Must have
Lead and manage payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing in compliance with local laws and internal policies.
Identify and implement continuous improvements in payroll processes, systems, and tools to drive efficiency and accuracy.
Lead, mentor, and support the payroll team to ensure service delivery standards are met.
Maintain and update documentation related to payroll processes and controls.
Act as a subject matter expert for payroll compliance and audit requirements
Required skills
Compensation Strategy and Analysis:
Develop and implement compensation plans aligned with the company's objectives.
Conduct regular market research and analysis to ensure competitive pay practices
Manage annual salary reviews, promotion adjustment, and bonus calculation ensuring fair and consistent application of compensation policies.
Design, and evaluate base pay, variable pay, and equity compensation programs to attract, retain, and motivate talent.
Maintain and update job grading system, ensuring it remains relevant to evolving organizational needs
Collaborate with division heads to provide guidance on compensation-related queries and issues.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field from a reputable university
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in payroll operations, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Proficient in using MS Office at an advanced level
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with payroll systems, and HRIS systems is a plus.
Fluency in English; can speak Japanese languages are a plus.
