1. JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview

● Manage a group of workers.

● Ensuring safety, output and quality on the inspection buy off stations.

● Responsible for the VCA score of the paint workshop and the FTQ of each QC station in the workshop.

● Report directly to the QC manager / Director

Organization Management, Human Development

● Manage teams, arrange the right people for the right jobs according to the strengths of employees

● Multi-skill training for employees, employee development.

● Worker Competency Assessment

Financial Management

● Manage material quotas according to requirements, think and motivate employees to improve to reduce production costs.

System Management

● Management of KPI evaluation system, attendance system

● Manage the implementation of lean production systems.

Fictional Job

● Ensure that safety and PPE compliance goals are met on all stages of inspection.

● Ontime deployment of quality control manpower’s online for inspection and buy off.

● Make sure there are inspection standards / manuals available at the inspection station, workers follow them properly.

● Measurement of product quality parameters as per PCP and lot inspection for all the incoming materials of paint shop.

● Ensure the organization and arrangement of the workplace neatly, cleanly, and optimally.

● Timekeeping management, re-arranging work/resources between area managed.

● Train workers on internal rules, regulations, and job expertise

● Motivate employees to think, implement continuous improvement, and activities to reduce costs

● Daily layer audit check

● Master and understand quality standards (IPQS, CVIS, VCA,…)

● Skilled in responding to errors for related parts: fully & promptly

Others

● Perform other work as directed by superiors

● Ensure documents comply with ISO standards

2. REQUIREMENTS

Degree/ Qualification

● University degree / Diploma – Majoring in Chemical / Paint Technology / automotive technology

Experience

● 8+ years of experience in quality control department management in factories in the automotive industry – preferably factory to paint car bodies, paint components such as for cars, paint plastic components for motorcycles.

● Human resource management: arranging personnel, managing human resources, evaluating PIs, training skills for workers.

● Experience in lot inspection for PT chemicals, Sealers, ED & topcoat paints for both car body and plastic parts painting.

● Experience in painted body / plastic parts product quality characteristics (DFT, adhesion, gloss, color & EMT) validation.
