Job Description

Get to Know the Role

Follow strategies to attract new merchants and create business opportunities, working with team members to meet goals. Build relationships with potential merchants, explaining Grab's value, and keep up with market trends to adjust strategies. You will be reporting to the Merchant Partner Manager. Working onsite from Makassar office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Lead an acquisition team to acquire and develop sales opportunities through a combination of channels, including referrals, networking, cold calls, and face-to-face meetings
  • Diligently follow up and close sales opportunities
  • Build a las ting relationship with restaurant decision makers to maintain the possibility of future sales
  • Consult and recommend our products and services to restaurant decision makers while communicating the value of joining the Grab network
  • Work with the respective team to facilitate successful product adoption and partnerships by new merchants
  • Lead sales projects and initiate tactical strategies to improve team efficiency and capabilities, and drive incremental sales output.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales, specifically products or services
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Experience in direct selling products or services
  • Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects of audiences
  • Experience fostering strong, enduring relationships with clients by communicating product benefits appropriate for each prospect
