Area Needed: we will need 1 person in each area (jabodetabek, surabaya, balikpapan, bandung, makasar)
Job Overview:
As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal product placement and visibility at the point of sale within the Jabodetabek and Greater Jakarta regions, including Tangerang. Your primary responsibilities will include visiting supermarkets and minimarkets, optimizing planograms, and ensuring consistent stock availability to drive sales and enhance the overall customer shopping experience by enhancing and increasing both, availability as well as visibility. Occasionally, awareness campaigns and product promotions might be conducted in order further to activate the brand at the point of sale.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Point of Sale Visits: Actively visit supermarkets and minimarkets within the designated areas to monitor and optimize product displays.
2. Planogram Optimization: Implement and maintain planograms to maximize product visibility and appeal, ensuring alignment with company guidelines.
3. Stock Availability: Monitor inventory levels and work closely with store personnel to ensure sufficient stock levels, preventing out-of-stock situations.
4. Range Completion: Collaborate with retailers to ensure that the complete product range is available on shelves, coordinating with them to introduce new products and remove discontinued items.
5. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain positive relationships with store managers and staff to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
6. Reporting: Provide regular reports on product performance, stock levels, and competitor activities to the relevant stakeholders and work closely with our appointed Distribution Partner in the respective territory.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role within the consumer goods industry.
- Strong understanding of planogram implementation and visual merchandising techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with Jabodetabek and Greater Jakarta, including Tangerang, is a plus.
