About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Instrumentation HOD to join our team at PT Singatac Bintan. As the Head of Department, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the mechanical and electrical instrumentation operations within our company, located in the Riau Islands. This is a full-time position that requires your expertise and leadership to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our critical systems.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage and oversee the mechanical and electrical instrumentation teams, providing guidance and direction to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards

2. Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize the performance and reliability of our mechanical and electrical systems

3. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of instrumentation systems with other operations

5. Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues

6. Mentor and train junior team members to develop their skills and expertise

7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and productivity

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline

2. Prefer 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the subsea fabrication for oil & gas industry

3. Proven track record of leading and managing a team of mechanical and electrical instrumentation professionals

4. Extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical instrumentation systems, including their design, installation, mechanical testing, hydrotest and maintenance

5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

7. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, standards, and safety protocols

8. Willing to work in Bintan - Riau Island province - Indonesia
