About the role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Formulatrix Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and prototyping of innovative automation lab equipment. This is a full-time position based in Central Java, where you will be responsible for designing, prototyping, testing, and optimizing mechanical components and systems to meet the objectives.
What you'll be doing
Conducting research and analysis to create the concept of new products.
Designing and prototyping mechanical components and systems.
Evaluating the test and design result, and redesigning until the product is ready to be manufactured.
Analyzing design requirements, constraints, and specifications to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
Preparing detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation to support manufacturing and assembly.
Working and collaborating with other professionals within and outside the engineering sector.
What we're looking for
Minimum diploma degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
Has experience in mechanical design and manufacturing (machining and fabrication).
Has experience in mechanism design, automation, or special purpose machines.
Have the ability of using CAD/CAM (SolidWorks or Onshape is a plus).
Have the ability to participate in DFMEAs and support PFMEAs.
Willing to work in Salatiga or Semarang according to the project needs.
Good communication skills in English, both oral and written.
Soft skills
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
