Job Title: Mandarin AssistantCore Role: Cross-Departmental Operational Hub & Chinese-Indonesian Bilingual Bridge
Position Overview:We seek a highly organized and proactive Mandarin-proficient assistant based in Semarang, Indonesia, to support management in driving efficient business operations. You will be responsible for cross-departmental coordination, meeting/document translation, and progress tracking, ensuring seamless information flow between Chinese and Indonesian teams as a key enabler of operational efficiency.
Core Responsibilities:
Cross-Department Coordination Support:
Act as liaison between Production, Procurement, Finance, HR, and other departments to relay instructions and track task progress.
Coordinate cross-departmental meetings and compile meeting minutes (bilingual).
Assist in daily administrative processes (e.g., reimbursements, document approvals).
Translation Duties:
Consecutive Interpretation: Provide real-time Chinese-Indonesian interpretation for meetings (onsite/online).
Document Translation: Accurately translate business contracts, reports, emails, and other materials.
Cultural Mediation: Bridge cultural understanding gaps in cross-team communication.
Information Management & Reporting:
Consolidate and translate department weekly/monthly reports; extract key data for management.
Maintain critical business trackers (e.g., project timelines, deliverable checklists).
Qualifications:
Experience & Background:
Minimum 1 year of experience in an assistant/coordinator role.
Background in manufacturing, trading companies, or Chinese enterprises preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PPT) and virtual meeting tools (Tencent Meeting/Zoom).
Fresh graduates may be considered: Must provide Mandarin proficiency proof (e.g., HSK 5 certificate) and Indonesian language certification.
Language:
Fluent Mandarin (spoken, listening, reading, writing - native-like proficiency required).
