Atomic Recruitment SEA melalui program rekrutmennya saat ini sedang membuka lowongan kerja untuk posisi Logistics Manager di West Kalimantan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja operasional di dalam maupun luar kantor Atomic Recruitment SEA. Our client is a well-established industrial company in Southeast Asia, specializing in large-scale raw material processing for global supply chains and they’re seeking a Logistics Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations, covering international shipments, customs processes, and local distribution activities. The position ensures compliance with local regulations, accurate product classification, and efficient, cost-effective movement of goods across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

1. International Logistics Management

• Oversee end-to-end import and export activities, including shipment planning and execution
• Coordinate closely with freight forwarders, shipping partners, and customs agents
• Ensure smooth and timely clearance of shipments
• Drive continuous improvement in logistics processes across both international and domestic flows
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as procurement, finance, and project teams

2. Customs Compliance & Taxation

• Manage preparation and verification of customs documentation (e.g., import/export declarations)
• Ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements
• Act as the key point of contact for customs authorities during audits, inspections, or inquiries
• Partner with tax teams on matters relating to import duties and indirect taxes
• Support reporting and reconciliation of logistics-related taxes

3. Product Classification (HS Code)

• Ensure accurate classification of goods based on Harmonized System (HS) codes
• Validate applicable duties, taxes, and import requirements
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure adherence to latest tariff guidelines

4. Domestic Logistics & Distribution

• Plan and manage local transportation and delivery operations
• Coordinate with transport providers to ensure timely distribution
• Identify opportunities to optimize routes and reduce logistics costs

Requirements

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related discipline
• Approximately 5–8 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain
• Strong exposure to import/export operations, customs processes, and local distribution
• Hands-on experience within Indonesian logistics environments
• Background in manufacturing or project-based industries is an added advantage

Key Competencies

• Solid understanding of local customs regulations and procedures
• Proficiency in HS Code classification
• Experience managing transportation and warehouse operations
• Strong coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working with Excel and ERP systems

Language Requirements

• Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English
• Mandarin language capability is a plus
