Who We’re Looking For?

• Preferably has minimum 7+ years of experience in logistics management, specifically within the Oleochemical, or Chemical Manufacturing sectors with has as supervisor level minimum 3 years.
• Fluent in English,
• Excited about being part of a dream,
• A strong believer in the power of winning together,
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Able to use MS Office & SAP Programs actively,
• Able to come to our site in Sei Mangkei, North Sumatera

What You’ll Be Doing?

The Logistics Assistant Manager supports the Logistics Manager in executing end-to-end supply chain operations, including warehouse management, domestic and export logistics, international shipping coordination, and customs compliance.

This role is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across warehouse and logistics functions, with strong involvement in handling bulk liquids, dry materials, hazardous goods, and maintaining compliance with certifications such as RSPO, Halal, and ISCC

Key Responsibilities?

• Support and supervise daily warehouse operations for dry bulk and packaged goods (e.g., fatty acids, glycerin, soap noodles, calcium soap).
• Ensure high level of inventory accuracy through SAP transactions, stock reconciliation, and cycle count execution.
• Monitor proper handling, storage, and movement of chemical and hazardous materials in line with HSE standards.
• Assist in maintaining warehouse layout efficiency and storage optimization
• Coordinate and monitor domestic distribution activities, including ISO tanks, road tankers, and trucking operations.
• Supervise picking, packing, and loading processes to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Track logistics performance metrics such as On-Time Delivery (OTD) and escalate issues when needed.
• Liaise with Production and Procurement teams to ensure alignment of inbound and outbound schedules
• Execute and monitor export shipment processes across various modes: FCL / LCL, ISO Tanks, & Flexi bags
• Coordinate with 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines for booking and delivery arrangements.
• Assist in controlling and minimizing costs related to demurrage, detention, and port delays.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of shipping documentation
• Support customs clearance activities for both export and import shipments.
• Ensure documentation compliance with local regulations, especially within KEK Sei Mangkei (SZE).
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with RSPO, ISCC, Halal, and other certification
• Ensure adherence to HSE policies and operational SOPs across logistics and warehouse activities.
• Supervise and guide team members to ensure operational discipline and productivity
