About The Team The Trust & Safety Policy team develops, reviews, and implements the policies and processes that underpin our Community Guidelines to promote a positive and safe environment for all of our users and content creators to enjoy and express themselves.

As a LIVE Policy Analyst, you will work on a product policy team focused on the TikTok LIVE Content Ecosystem team with a mission to develop policies and manage content intervention strategies impacting TikTok LIVE. You are passionate about user safety, wake up excited to make an impact in millions of people's lives, and switch readily from thinking strategically about policy development and iteration to managing tactical enforcement decisions. Your background and professional expertise are grounded in areas related to internet policy and user safety.

You also have experience bringing out the best in your colleagues and fostering a collaborative working style in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment. You will work closely with various internal partners, including other members of Trust & Safety, LIVE Product, and Legal. In addition to policy development and enforcement, you will also support internal teams that identify, triage, and remove violative content across APAC and globally.

What will I be doing?

• You will be supporting drafting, analysis, and enforcement of LIVE policies across the APAC region, with a focus on adapting global policies to address market-specific or region-specific risks effectively.
• You will monitor and address market quality to surface errors, contribute insights and create localized guidance.

You will align key findings across subject matter experts, operations, LIVE Product, and different enforcement teams to ensure high-quality, accurate policy enforcement and interpretation.

• You will partner with our cross-functional teams to support managing user safety and business risks, crises and emerging trends in line with Trust & Safety policies and principles.
• You will ensure policy guidance and training material for moderation in APAC are updated, operable, and effective.
• You will prepare and present policy-related updates and reports to stakeholders, ensuring open communication and consistent alignment with business objectives.
• You will provide policy leadership in handling critical and complex LIVE escalations from internal and external stakeholders for APAC.

Minumum Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of experience in policy research, analysis, or policy enforcement in the technology/social media/content industry.
• You have a bachelor's degree in public policy, politics, law, economics, behavioural sciences, or any other related field.
• You are excellent at oral and written communication, with the ability to translate complex challenges into simple and clear language and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
• You understand and are passionate about solving harmful trends and risks on social media in the Indonesian market and diaspora.
• You have strong analytical analysis, interpretation, reasoning, quantitative and cross-functional skills.
• Business fluency in English and proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia, as this individual will be taking care of the Indonesia market.
