Role Summary:The Legal Affairs Officer ensures company-wide compliance with labor laws, manages legal risks, and oversees contract drafting and negotiation. This role provides legal counsel on employee relations, regulatory matters, and corporate governance while supporting dispute resolution and litigation efforts. Additionally, the officer advises management on legal strategies, develops compliant policies, and leads training on legal issues, including data privacy and employment law.

Key Responsibilities :

• Legal Compliance: Ensure the company follows all relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry standards. Update policies to stay current with legal changes.
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, and monitor their performance to address any risks or issues.
• Employee Relations: Provide legal advice on employee issues, including disputes, terminations, and workplace investigations, and help develop HR policies.
• Dispute Resolution: Manage internal and external disputes, coordinate with outside lawyers, and represent the company in legal proceedings when needed.
• Data Privacy: Ensure the company complies with data protection laws and advise on secure handling of employee and customer data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in corporate or employment law.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of labor laws, contracts, and employee relations.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple legal tasks.
• Proficiency in legal research and risk management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
