About the role

This is a full-time Lab Technician Supervisor Garment role based in KITB , Batang Regency, Central Java, working for PT. TRAX SUMBIRI INDO', a company in the Sportswear Manufacturing. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the lab technician team and ensuring the smooth operation of the garment testing laboratory.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the garment testing laboratory, including managing and coordinating the lab technician team
• Ensure all testing procedures and protocols are followed accurately and consistently
• Analyse test results and provide feedback to the production team to maintain quality standards
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise in the lab and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with the quality assurance and research & development teams to continuously improve testing methods
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of all testing activities
• Provide training and development opportunities for the lab technician team

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a lab technician or supervisor in the garment industry
• Thorough understanding of garment testing methods, equipment, and quality control procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret test results and identify areas for improvement
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively manage and collaborate with the lab technician team
• Proficient in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis and reporting
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
