About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Korean Translator to join our team at PT Duniatex Group in Central Java. As a fulltime Korean Translator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication and understanding between our company and our Korean stakeholders and partners. What you'll be doing

1. Translate a variety of documents, including business correspondence, reports, presentations, and other materials between Korean and Indonesian/English

2. Interpret during meetings, negotiations, and other business interactions with Korean clients and colleagues

3. Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure accuracy and consistency

4. Serve as a cultural liaison, providing guidance on etiquette and customs to facilitate smoother cross-cultural interactions

5. Maintain a terminology database to ensure consistent use of industry-specific terminology

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the company's international operations and strategic initiatives

What we're looking for

1. Fluency in both Korean and Indonesian/English, with the ability to translate between the languages with a high degree of accuracy and cultural sensitivity

2. Proven experience as a professional translator, preferably in a business or corporate environment

3. Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality

4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds

5. Familiarity with translation tools and technologies, such as computer-assisted translation software
