Job Opening: Junior Sales & General Admin Staff (Contract to Permanent Role)

Location: Bekasi, IndonesiaIndustry: Valves & Actuators (Industrial Equipment)

Reporting to: Internal Sales and Marketing Engineer

We are a growing specialist company in the field of valves and actuators, based in Bekasi, Indonesia, serving key clients in the oil & gas, petrochemical, and general industries. As part of our expansion, we are looking for a Junior Sales & General Admin Staff to join our team. Our headquarters company is based in Singapore and we are experienced in the valves and actuators industry with more than 10 years of working experience.

This role of Junior Sales & General Admin Staff is ideal for a recent engineering graduate or diploma holder who is enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager to learn. The position will begin with a 3-month contract, with a path for immediate conversion to permanent employment based on good work performance and work attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Marketing Support

  • Assist the sales & marketing team in daily tasks and coordination

  • Help prepare and send sales quotations, proposals, registration and/or tender documents

  • Assist to handle incoming and/or outgoing phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries in a professional manner

  • Support the maintenance of customer databases and sales documentation

  • From time to time, accompany sales team to visit customers as needed

  • Any other work as assigned

General Administration

  • Perform general office administration, filing, and document control

  • Assist in procurement administration and internal logistics coordination when needed

  • Support on general affairs duties such as office facilities, office supplies management, event preparation, and scheduling for meetings and travel arrangements

  • Work closely with other departments as needed

  • Participate in monthly stock counts and physical inventory checks

  • Help update stock records and liaise with the warehouse and finance team for data accuracy

  • Support the teams with admin records and actual stock levels

  • Any other work as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related fields preferred)

  • Graduates with at least 2 years of working experience are welcome to apply

  • Maximum 5 years of relevant working experience as this is a junior staff role

  • Willingness to learn and develop in a technical-commercial role

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage time, multitask, and handle work pressure positively

  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Must be fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and have a working proficiency in English

  • Having a growth mindset is a must
