PT North Sumatera Hydro Energy (NSHE) is an Independent Power Producer (IPP) company that developed the Batangtoru Hydroelectric Power Plant (PLTA Batangtoru) with a capacity of 510 MW, located on the Batangtoru River in South Tapanuli, North Sumatera Province, Indonesia. We are projected to become one of the leading producers of renewable energy in Indonesia, supporting 15% of the country's peak load system and harnessing the watershed's potential to generate clean and reliable electricity.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and solution-oriented Junior IT Staff to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, managing, and developing the company's IT infrastructure while providing day-to-day technical support to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations. This position requires a proactive individual with strong technical capabilities and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
IT System Maintenance: Manage and maintain the company's hardware, software, and internal network systems to ensure optimal functionality.
Technical Support: Provide daily technical support to employees, including troubleshooting issues with computers, printers, networks, and other systems.
System Security: Assist in maintaining IT security systems, including antivirus software, firewalls, and user access policies.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation related to the IT infrastructure and systems.
Backup & Recovery: Perform regular data backups and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place and functioning properly.
Vendor Coordination: Communicate with external vendors regarding procurement, repair, or development of IT systems and equipment.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 year of experience in a similar role (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
Technical Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and networks; knowledge of LAN/WAN, Windows/Linux operating systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Skills: Experience with servers, virtualization systems, or cloud technologies is an advantage.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work under pressure.
Integrity: Must be able to handle company data with confidentiality and a high sense of responsibility.
