Job Description:

Carry out the timetable of classes assigned by the STMGive lessons to the highest standards of English language teaching
* Be familiar with all courses of study at the center
* Become familiar with and implement the Our Learning System
* Prepare lessons and equipment in advance for all classes.
* Begin and end classes on time.
* Be in class 5 minutes before starting time. Test equipment before class starts.
* Use audio / video materials in classes. Expose students to the technology used in current courses
* Develop and use suitable supplementary materials as necessary
* Maintain student and class records. Administer, correct and record the results of progress reports, tests and assessments
* Be responsible for students' welfare and progress.
* Inform students of center safety and behavior policies
* Substitute for absent colleagues, perhaps at short notice, on or off-site
* Cooperate with the CD and STM/ST3/ST4 in ensuring the constructive communication and efficient operation of the center
* Meet regularly with the STM/ST3/ST4 to communicate all relevant information
* Assist the STM/ST3/ST4 upon request with the development and marketing of courses and induction of sales and teaching
* Continually strive for self-development and attend regular developmental meetings with the STM, ST3 orST4
* Maintain student and class records
* Assist in the placement testing and interviewing of new students
* Conduct or assist in demo (MFL) lessons as assigned
* Carry out teaching related responsibilities including, but not limited to demonstration classes, LiFE Clubs, tutorials, seminars, presentations, and center social events
* Take on administrative work, and in addition but not limited to: cataloging supplementary materials, organizing extracurricular events, and organizing and preparing marketing materials as directed by the STM/ST3/ST4
* Keep the teachers' room, equipment and resources well-organized and in good condition
* Be familiar with the administrative procedures employed by the center
* Follow English 1 policies and procedures

Requirement:

• TEFL Certificate is mandatory

• IELTS/CELTA/DELTA/TESOL Certificates are optional subject to terms and conditions

• Willingness to be placed in either English 1 Makassar or Manado

• Max 40 years old with good appearance.

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree from reputable university.

• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills towards students, parents and other colleagues.

• Experienced in teaching English would be a preference.
