About the role

At Sikara Lombok Hotel, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. This is a contract position based in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout our hotel, ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

What you'll be doing

1. Thoroughly clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing supplies

2. Inspect rooms to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation

3. Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues in guest rooms

4. Assist with the laundry and linen management for the hotel

5. Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding promptly to any requests or concerns

6. Collaborate with the wider hotel team to maintain the overall cleanliness and organisation of the property

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience as a Housekeeper or in a similar role within the hospitality industry

2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness

3. Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour

4. Good physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks

5. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
