Head of Sales, ASEAN

• The primary function is to generate new business leads and foster current customer relationships in the Region• Development of industry partnerships and working with other regions and factories to provide optimal solutions to the customers.• Leading a high-performance Regional Sales Team• Support business growth strategy in the region• Strategic and operational accountability of the Regional Sales• Leading the development and market awareness of FLENDER solution.• Developing effective, resilient working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.• Ensuring all Sales activities are carried out effectively and in line with internal and external governance and regulatory frameworks• Establishing appropriate controls to monitor performance, and to drive future growth and development of the team.• Supporting the implementation of current business improvement initiatives• Reviewing the trends influencing the markets and developing innovative customer-centric strategies in response to these changes.

Your Strengths• 8-10 years of related Sales experience.• Knowledge of power transmissions and related equipment• Proven experience of 5 - 8 years business-to-business relationships in mining & minerals in the respective region• Technical understanding of Mechanical Drives and gearbox products so relevant Industry exposure is preferred• Proficiency in managing system applications and CRM tools to operate independently• Financial and business acumen• Understanding Engineering concepts• Tertiary qualification in engineering (Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Mining/ Metallurgy) or relevant trade qualification is an advantage

The successful candidate knows how to:• Ensure the implementation of sales guidelines and set sales targets for the assigned sales organization• Develop and propose sales budgets and growth forecasts aligned with the sales strategy• Manage the completion of budgets and regular sales reporting• Define and allocate resources• Cooperate with other Departments to achieve a coherent strategic and tactical product and service positioning• Drive customer focus within the organization
