About the role

We are seeking a talented Finance Staff to join our team at PT Kubota Indonesia in Semarang, Central Java. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in managing the company's financial operations and contributing to the overall financial health and success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Handle day-to-day financial transactions including payments, reimbursements, and petty cash management
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Coordinate with external parties such as banks, tax offices, and auditors
• Assist in tax reporting and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation
• Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting

What we're looking for

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Economics or Accounting
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; 1-2 years of experience in finance is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Familiar with the financial reporting cycle
• Knowledge of banking applications is an advantage
• Basic understanding of taxation is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Capable of working independently as well as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and a collaborative mindset
