About This Role:

FF&E Designer will be based in our Jakarta office. This role is part of a dynamic team engaged in the design and development of world-class interiors. Our portfolio includes prestigious five-star hotels, exclusive clubhouses, show flats, luxury yachts, and more across China and Southeast Asia.

Job Summary:

As an FF&E Designer, you will play a vital role in shaping the sensory and functional experience of high-profile hospitality spaces. You will conceptualize, curate, and implement FF&E design solutions, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellence in every project detail. This position calls for creativity, precision, and a passion for sophisticated, luxurious environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative FF&E concepts, including mood boards and curated material palettes aligned with the design brief.
• Produce detailed FF&E specifications: furniture layouts, custom designs, finish schedules.
• Source and select furniture, lighting, decorative accessories, textiles, and finishes that meet aesthetic, quality, and budgetary targets.
• Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and procurement professionals to ensure cohesive design execution.
• Participate in client meetings and design presentations to communicate FF&E concepts with clarity and confidence.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as drawings, material schedules, costings, and vendor information.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain samples, quotations, and ensure timely procurement.
• Review FF&E samples and mock-ups for quality, accuracy, and alignment with design standards.
• Support the on-site installation process to ensure that the design intent is preserved throughout execution.
• Resolve any FF&E issues that arise during installation or project handover.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• 5-6 years of proven experience in FF&E design, ideally within hospitality.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and FF&E specification platforms.
• Strong material and product knowledge, with a refined design sensibility and attention to detail.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
