We are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to join our team at PT Super Dry Marine in our new facility in Sidoarjo, East Java. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations to ensure efficient, safe, and effective production of high-quality desiccant products. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our new Sidoarjo facility.
Jobs description:
Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to ensure on-time delivery while meeting quality standards.
Monitor daily production schedules, output, and productivity to achieve production targets.
Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machines, and materials to maximize productivity.
Ensure production activities comply with quality standards and customer requirements.
Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards within the factory.
Ensure the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in daily operations.
Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
Control waste and manage efficient usage of raw materials.
Oversee maintenance of machines and equipment to minimize downtime.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production processes, including Kaizen, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing where applicable.
Manage and supervise industrial machinery automation operations, ensuring workflow optimization to improve productivity, operational efficiency, and machine utilization across the factory.
Lead, supervise, and develop production teams to ensure optimal performance and discipline.
Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Accustomed to working with industrial machine automation.
Familiar with production planning, quality systems, GMP, and HSE implementation.
Understand sustainability audits such as SMETA, HIGG, and similar audits.
Good command of English (oral and written) is a must.
Active Mandarin communication skills (oral and written) are highly preferred.
Willing to be placed in Sidoarjo, East Java.
