Factory Manager
Role OverviewThe Factory Manager will oversee the production operations, sales coordination, and supply chain coordination of the facility in Boyolali. This role demands an experienced leader capable of ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and compliance with both local and international standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesFactory Operations- Responsible for overall management of the factory and legal entity
- Oversee daily production, workforce planning, and equipment utilization.
- Ensure compliance with labor, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
Sales & Client Engagement- Monitor local sales personnel, develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share in Indonesia and the region.
- Manage customer relationships and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with internal teams to meet customer expectations and resolve issues promptly.
Sourcing & Supply Chain Management- Ensure smooth handling of sourcing and procurement activities.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent lead time issues.
- Collaborate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely material availability.
Cross-Border Collaboration- Work closely with HQ personnel overseas on:
- Sales planning and forecasting
- Customer order management
- Supply chain coordination
- Procurement strategies
Compliance & Standards- Ensure adherence to local statutory requirements and industry regulations.
- Implement and maintain compliance with customer-specific standards such as Sedex and other social responsibility frameworks.
Leadership & Reporting- Lead and mentor factory and sales teams to achieve performance targets.
- Report operational and commercial performance to senior management.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing and sales, preferably in garment accessories or labeling industry.
- knowledge in RFID will be an added advantage
- Energetic, strong leadership, problem solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English; Japanese language skills are an advantage.
- Familiarity with social compliance and compliance audit (e.g., Sedex, ISO).
- familiarity with local custom, import and export regulation.
