Role Overview

Event Production Staff will be responsible for the research, development, production and delivery of allocated events. The Event Production Staff will also be responsible for working with the Event Production Supervisor to deliver events produced by the Events Team as a whole.

The Events Team are a very busy, creative, tight knit group of vibrant professionals who strive to challenge and innovate wherever we can.

Event Production Staff Responsibilities:

• The research, development, design, production and delivery of events as required by the Events Team.

• Budget planning, new supplier sourcing, contract negotiations and monitoring the production quality.

• Producing all relevant production paperwork including but not limited to site plans, event management plans.

• Acting as the appointed site manager and assisting with the physical set up and dismantling of events, including the management of contractors and suppliers and the distribution and return of events equipment / stores and vehicles as required.

• Arranging / attending all event production and planning meetings.

Event Production Staff Skills and Experience:

• S1 graduated from MICE or related to Event Organizer major.

• Minimal 1 year experience with the same role.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

• Passion for creating events to entertain a wide-ranging audience and diverse community.

• Patience and ability to negotiate professionally with suppliers.

• Hands on/ proactive onsite and pride yourself on going the extra mile to create the best event possible.

• A team player but also be able to manage your workload independently.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively.

• Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings and late nights as required and able to manage your time accordingly.
