We are seeking a DevOps Engineer (SDE2) to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and resilient infrastructure, ensuring the automation of deployments, monitoring, and system operations. You will work closely with software development, quality assurance, and other teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
About the job:
- Infrastructure Management: Contribute to design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure using cloud providers (e.g., AWS, GCP) or on-premises solutions.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software delivery processes.
- Monitoring and Security: Implement monitoring, alerting, and security practices to ensure system performance and safety.
- Automation: Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
- Collaboration: Work with development and QA teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Incident Management: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving basic issues related to infrastructure, applications, and deployments.
- Learning & Development: Actively learn new tools, technologies, and best practices in DevOps to improve skill set.
About you: - Good experience in Kubernetes highly preferred
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps-related roles, system administration, or software development.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket Pipelines, Github Action, etc).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS).
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, etc).
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go, etc).
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK stack)
- Good knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (DNS, HTTP/S, TCP/IP).
- Ability to work effectively with development and operations teams.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic systems and drive incident resolution.
- Understanding of security best practices in DevOps environments.
- Experienced with Atlassian products.
- Experienced with JumpCloud is plus
- Solid understanding of Linux-based systems (e.g., Ubuntu).
- Proficiency with Git for version control and collaboration.
