Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy General Manager to join our team in Denpasar on a full-time, on-site basis. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is pivotal in supporting the overall leadership of the firm. The Deputy General Manager will oversee daily operations, manage departmental activities, drive creative initiatives, and ensure the successful execution of projects. This position requires a proactive leader who can strategize, innovate, and foster growth while upholding the company's standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Departmental Management: Lead and manage the architecture and project departments, including team supervision, resource allocation, and performance evaluation to ensure efficient operations and high productivity.
- Project Oversight: Coordinate with various departments to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources; monitor progress to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
- Creative and Conceptual Development: Develop innovative concepts, generate creative ideas for architectural designs, and collaborate on rethinking traditional approaches to create unique, client-centric living spaces.
- Strategic Planning and Business Development: Contribute to business initiatives by strategizing growth opportunities, implementing process improvements, and identifying new avenues for expansion in the architecture and construction industry.
- Leadership and Team Development: Provide strong leadership to staff, mentor team members, and foster a collaborative environment; conduct regular performance reviews and training to build a motivated and skilled workforce.
- Budgeting and Financial Management: Oversee budget planning, cost control, and financial reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility and alignment with company goals.
- Stakeholder Coordination and Reporting: Liaise with internal teams, external partners, clients, and senior management; prepare regular reports on project status, operational metrics, and strategic progress.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all activities comply with company standards, industry regulations, and best practices; implement quality control measures to maintain excellence in deliverables.
- Additional Duties: Handle ad-hoc responsibilities as needed, including crisis management, innovation workshops, and supporting the General Manager in all aspects of firm operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Business Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in the construction, architecture, or related industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role; proven track record in managing teams and projects.
