RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise daily customs clearance operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of import/export shipments.
Review and approve customs documentation in compliance with local and international regulations.
Oversee classification, valuation, and duty/tax calculations according to applicable laws.
Liaise with customs authorities and government agencies to resolve any clearance issues or audits.
Lead, train, and manage a team of customs brokers and support staff.
Monitor regulatory changes and ensure team compliance with trade laws and customs requirements.
Coordinate with internal departments, freight forwarders, and clients to ensure smooth shipment flow.
Maintain accurate records and reports for audits and compliance purposes.
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce clearance delays.
Ensure all activities align with company policies.
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Having experience in forwarder 7 to 9 years.
At least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, HS code classification, valuation, and trade compliance.
Able to speak and write in English.
Understand Microsoft Office.
Experience to work with a team and having sub-ordinates.
Having PPJK License.
Understand custom ID process and system.
Able to supervise team internal and outsource.
