Expat. Roasters Indonesia sedang membuka lowongan untuk posisi Penuh waktu Cook di Pradahkalikendal, Jawa Timur. Lamar sekarang untuk menjadi bagian dari tim kami.
Kualifikasi pekerjaan:Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and menu items.
Follow portion control guidelines and ensure that all food is prepared to the correct specifications.
Assist with mise en place (pre-preparation) tasks, including chopping, marinating, and assembling dishes.
Operate kitchen equipment and cooking stations, such as grills, fryers, ovens, and stoves, safely and efficiently.
Monitor the cooking process to ensure that food is cooked to the correct temperature, texture, and presentation.
Ensure that all orders are prepared in a timely manner, especially during peak service hours.
Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before using them in dishes.
Ensure that all dishes are visually appealing and meet the restaurant's presentation standards.
Taste dishes periodically to ensure flavor consistency and quality.
Keep your work area clean, organized, and sanitized throughout your shift.
Assist with kitchen cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Communicate effectively with the front-of-house team to ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately and promptly.
Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed, including prepping ingredients, plating dishes, and supporting other stations.
Monitor and report any shortages in ingredients or supplies to the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
Assist in receiving and organizing kitchen deliveries as needed.
Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
Requirements
1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen is preferred, but entry-level candidates with strong culinary skills may be considered.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices.
Basic cooking skills with a strong attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Strong organizational skills with a focus on cleanliness and safety.
Passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field.
Flexibility to work in various sections of the kitchen as needed.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training or certification is a plus.
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Working based in Surabaya.
