Role Summary:

The Concierge Sales Agent is responsible for assisting guests by promoting and selling additional services such as tours, transportation, dining experiences, wellness activities, and events. This role is focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences while generating additional revenue for the company. The agent plays a key role in building relationships with vendors, managing guest requests, and acting as the main point of contact for any services or activities that enhance the guests' stay. The Concierge Sales Agent ensures that every guest feels attended to, understood, and satisfied with their experience.

Key Responsibilities:

 Service Promotion and Upselling

  • Promote and upsell additional services to guests, such as tours, transfers, breakfasts, yoga, spa treatments, and other activities that enhance their stay.

  • Prepare informational templates and marketing messages for guests, ensuring all service offerings are presented in a clear and attractive manner.

  • Coordinate with the Reservations Department to ensure guests are aware of the full range of services available during their stay and facilitate seamless bookings.

Guest Communication and Relationship Management

  • Respond promptly and professionally to phone calls and email inquiries from guests regarding available services and activities.

  • Greet visitors and guests warmly, ensuring they feel welcome and cared for from the moment they arrive.

  • Anticipate guests' needs, providing personalized recommendations and solutions based on their preferences and requests.

  • Act as the point of reference for guests who need assistance or information, offering guidance on activities, local venues, dining options, and events.

Service Coordination and Execution

  • Make reservations for guests at local restaurants, entertainment venues, or wellness facilities, ensuring smooth communication with the Customer Support Division.

  • Arrange transportation services such as taxis, shuttles, or private transfers for guests upon request.

  • Assist in the facilitation of onsite events (e.g., weddings or corporate events) in cooperation with the Customer Support Division, ensuring all guest needs are met.

Complaint Resolution and Problem Solving

  • Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally, working to resolve any issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.

  • Ensure guests receive appropriate solutions or alternatives for any challenges they face during their stay.

Knowledge and Expertise

  • Acquire and maintain an extensive knowledge of the premises, nearby venues, and businesses, allowing for personalized and well-informed recommendations to guests.

  • Stay updated on new activities, services, and local events to ensure guests have access to the latest offerings.

Administrative Tasks

  • Perform basic administrative tasks, including answering and redirecting phone calls, managing emails, and maintaining organized records of guest interactions.

  • Process and verify reservation payments as needed, ensuring that all transactions are handled accurately and in accordance with company procedures.

  • Assist in maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, ensuring that all guest preferences, requests, and service bookings are documented.

Customer Service and Professionalism

  • Provide excellent customer service by being attentive, polite, and responsive to guest needs.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with guests, ensuring they feel valued and satisfied with the concierge services provided.

  • Represent the company with integrity and professionalism, ensuring high ethical standards in all interactions.

Multitasking and Time Management

  • Prioritize tasks effectively to manage multiple guest requests, inquiries, and bookings simultaneously, ensuring prompt and efficient service.

  • Maintain a balance between handling guest inquiries and completing administrative duties, ensuring that both aspects are well managed.

Qualifications:

Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in hospitality, guest services, or concierge roles, ideally within the tourism or luxury travel sector.

  • Experience in upselling services and working with vendors or service providers is highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to anticipate and meet guests' needs while providing personalized service.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with guests, colleagues, and service providers.

  • Problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle guest complaints professionally and find effective solutions.

Organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
