About the role

As the Chief Engineering Hotel at CHAIN HOTEL 4 STAR', you will be responsible for overseeing all engineering and facilities management operations for this 4-star hotel located in Bandung, West Java. This is a contract position, offering the opportunity to lead a team of skilled technicians and engineers to ensure the smooth running and maintenance of the hotel's infrastructure, equipment and systems.

What you'll be doing

Manage and supervise the hotel's engineering and maintenance team, including scheduling, training and performance management

Oversee the preventive and reactive maintenance of all hotel systems, equipment and facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevators and building automation

Develop and implement engineering and maintenance policies, procedures and protocols to ensure efficient, safe and compliant operations

Manage capital projects and renovations, working closely with contractors and vendors

Monitor and report on energy usage and identify opportunities for cost savings and sustainability improvements

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

Act as a strategic partner to hotel management, providing input and recommendations on engineering and facilities decisions

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in engineering, facilities management or a related discipline

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Chief Engineering or Head of Engineering role, preferably in the hospitality industry

In-depth knowledge of hotel engineering systems and maintenance best practices

Strong project management, budgeting and vendor management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with hotel staff and external stakeholders

Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently

Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English
