PURPOSE STATEMENT:

The key objective of this role is to handle and ensure that products produced at 3rd parties are compliant to Quality Controls Plan expectations, and new product introductions or changes are implemented according to plan, ensuring any operational issues impacting the execution of the production are fixed in a timely manner

OBJECTIVE:

·Lead all aspects of Quality activities and processes at Tier1/2 suppliers

·Conduct and sign off APQP and validation for material and other trials

·Successful hand-over of the ‘new' production to business-as-usual, following an agreed period of post launch ‘Hypercare'

·Provide status updates to key stakeholders

·Work closely with the Supplier to deliver NPI initiatives, process and product improvements without impacting ongoing supply of product.

·Ensuring supply chain lead times and risks are understood for all materials

·Ensure manufacturing capacity is optimized to deliver future demand including agreed spare capacity available at short notice required to support end market initiatives.

·Ensures good Project Management principles are applied and all risks, issues, financial implications and opportunities are accurately and timely communicated.

·Ensure relevant PMTA supporting activities are establish and aligned with

KNOWLEDGE:

·Operations line management and/or Project Management experience in FMCG Supply Chain (5-7 years)

·Experience in Quality Assurance

·New Product introduction management including supply chain management
