Kualifikasi pekerjaan:POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Cashier, you are a crucial part of our team, responsible for efficiently processing guest orders and handling payment transactions while delivering exceptional customer service. Your role is vital in ensuring smooth and positive dining experiences for our guests.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service:
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Assist guests with menu selections, answer questions about items, and provide recommendations.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring their dining needs are met.
Order Processing:
Take guest orders accurately and efficiently, whether through verbal communication or input into the restaurant's ordering system.
Ensure all special requests, dietary preferences, and modifications are noted and accurately communicated to the kitchen staff.
Verify the accuracy of orders before presenting them to guests.
Payment Handling:
Accurately process guest payments, which may include cash, credit cards, mobile payments, venue comps
Prepare Guest checks through POS terminal functions
Provide correct change, issue receipts, and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
Handle and resolve any payment-related issues or discrepancies professionally.
Ability to perform basic math skills
Obtain and return issued bank each day, count the bank and ensure it balances
Responsible to ensure accurate accounting of all cashier monies
Prepare the proper reporting forms for the day with name, date, shift and outlet
Responsible for following proper check out procedures
Checkout Efficiency:
Monitor and manage the checkout area, ensuring it is organized, clean, and free from obstacles.
Assist in bagging or packaging food orders, preparing takeout containers, and ensuring order completeness.
Menu Knowledge:
Develop a strong understanding of the restaurant's menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
Stay informed about daily specials, promotions, and any changes to the menu.
Cashier Reports:
Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and provide reports to management as required.
Assist in reconciling the cash register at the start and end of shifts.
Inventory Control:
Monitor and assist in maintaining inventory levels of supplies at the cashier station, such as change, utensils, and napkins.
Notify management when items are running low and help restock when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience as a cashier in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred but not always required.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
Proficiency in cash handling, including counting, giving change, and processing transactions.
Basic math skills to calculate totals, discounts, and change accurately.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register equipment is a plus.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Neat and professional appearance, adhering to grooming standards.
