Deskripsi Pekerjaan

• Responsible for developing and formulating book concepts, including creating frameworks, structures, and ensuring content consistency in accordance with established editorial guidelines.• Foster intensive collaboration with authors in refining ideas, developing storylines, and adapting writing styles to reach the intended target audience.• Perform comprehensive editing of ebook manuscripts, encompassing grammar correction, spelling, and adherence to standard language conventions and style guides.• Execute thorough fact-checking processes and data validation to ensure accuracy of all content information.• Coordinate and conduct final review processes to ensure quality standards are met prior to ebook publication.• Provide strategic direction, conduct regular supervision, and deliver constructive feedback to the writing team.• Develop and coordinate detailed work schedules with the writing team to ensure timely project completion.• Monitor industry trends and innovations in ebook publishing to stay ahead of market developments and implement best practices.• Identify and implement improvements in the ebook editing and conversion process using the latest technologies and tools.

Persyaratan Khusus

• Bachelor's degree in Indonesian Language and Literature, Communication Studies, or a related field.• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a book editor, with a preference for candidates experienced in digital book or ebook editing.• Advanced proficiency in the Indonesian language, with an in-depth understanding of grammar, spelling, and writing styles aligned with EYD V standards.• Expertise in various ebook formats (e.g., EPUB, MOBI, PDF) and proficiency in using editing and publishing software such as Adobe InDesign, Sigil, or Calibre.• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to shifting priorities and meeting strict deadlines.• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for tone, style, and accuracy.• Strong editing and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail.• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, capable of mentoring and supervising a writing team.• Familiarity with market trends and industry standards in digital publishing, with the ability to implement innovative practices.• Experience in conducting market research and competitor analysis to inform editorial strategies.• Willing to work in fast-pace mode
