Job Title: AVP, Ops Control and Compliance, Operations

Job Responsibilities: - Ensure Custodian regulatory compliance: The candidate is responsible for ensuring that all custodian operations adhere to relevant regulatory standards and requirements. - Develop and maintain policies & procedures: The role involves creating and updating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards. - Identify, monitor, and manage compliance risks: The candidate will be tasked with identifying potential compliance risks, monitoring them, and implementing strategies to manage these risks effectively. - Custodian transaction monitoring and suspicious activity reporting: The job requires the candidate to oversee transaction monitoring processes and report any suspicious activities in accordance with regulatory requirements. - Provide training and awareness for new/update regulation to custodian team members: The candidate will need to train team members on new or updated regulations to ensure compliance throughout the team. - Escalate and report compliance matters: The role involves escalating compliance issues to appropriate authorities and ensuring that all compliance matters are reported in a timely and accurate manner. - Liaise with regulator, police, and prosecutor during inspections and inquiries: The candidate will act as a liaison between the company and regulatory bodies, police, and prosecutors during inspections and inquiries.
